Tiered link building is one of the less known tricks  for building your backlink score. If you are not aware of this technique then read on :

Basically, you are building different links from different websites in a more dynamic way. Start off by choosing a set of websites ranked based on their authority.Say you have 100in your list : Segregate then into three groups namely T-1,T-2,T-3 respectively.

Divide your workflow into three areas :Tie-1,Tier-2,Tier3 and follow the below procedure : 

Tier 1 :

Tier 1 must be dedicated for writing the  keyword-rich articles by smartly incorporating your links into the material if you are looking for article submissions. Either you can buy your way into submitting these articles into high authority sites or you can try them in genuine high authority sites for free. You can follow the same procedure for link submission too :)

What you need : Wikipedia links, Articles directories,Forum profile links

Tier 2 :

With a set of high-quality back links in your hand ,start your tier 2 by submitting this high quality back links in these T-2 sites.In short, all you are doing the link building for your tile 1 links.

What you need :  SBMs ,Article directories,Q/A sites.

Tier 3 :

The links generated from Tier-2 are now again submitted as a part of your backlinking  procedure in the T-3 sites.

What you need : Comment backlinks, Social signals,Blog commenting.

Do remember that the authority of your T-1 sites decides a lot in the effectiveness of your campaign.So, choose them carefully.You can tinker this procedure as you like but do not change the basic template.

And you are good to go.This procedure has paid off very well for us.Now that we are using more advanced techniques ,the basic method had been 100% effective and it can be resorted to, for your long term back linking strategy
